Terms of service
Last updated: September 2026
Welcome to Bellingham Flower Farm. By purchasing products, booking services, registering for an event, subscribing to a service, or otherwise using our website, you agree to the following Terms of Service.
Bellingham Flower Farm is a small, locally owned flower farm in Bellingham, Washington. We grow and sell seasonal flowers, floral arrangements, dahlia tubers, wedding florals, subscriptions, workshops, events, and other farm-related products and services.
1. Products and seasonal availability
Our flowers and farm products are seasonal and subject to availability. Because our products are grown on a working flower farm and many are harvested shortly before sale, availability, varieties, colors, quantities, and bloom stages may vary.
Product photos are intended as examples. Actual flowers may differ slightly in color, size, variety, or arrangement based on seasonal availability.
We reserve the right to substitute flowers or varieties of comparable value when necessary due to weather, growing conditions, crop failure, pests, disease, or other circumstances beyond our control.
2. Orders and payments
Orders are not considered confirmed until payment has been received and the order has been accepted by Bellingham Flower Farm.
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may be changed at any time. Applicable sales tax will be added where required by law.
We reserve the right to correct pricing, product descriptions, availability, or other errors on our website.
3. Fresh flowers and floral arrangements
Fresh flowers are perishable products and are intended to be enjoyed as soon as reasonably possible after purchase.
We provide care instructions when appropriate, but we cannot guarantee the lifespan of fresh flowers because vase life is affected by temperature, handling, water quality, location, and other conditions after the flowers leave our care.
Because fresh flowers are perishable and often made specifically for an individual order, cancellations and refunds may be limited once an order has entered production or flowers have been harvested.
If you have an issue with an order, please contact us as soon as possible so we can work with you to resolve the issue.
4. Dahlia tubers and plant material
Dahlia tubers and other living plant material are sold as seasonal agricultural products.
We take reasonable care to inspect and package tubers before they leave the farm. However, we cannot guarantee growth, performance, bloom color, size, or the ultimate success of a plant after it has been planted. Growing conditions, storage, planting practices, soil, weather, pests, disease, and other factors outside our control can affect plant performance.
Dahlia tuber policy: Customers must inspect their tubers promptly upon receipt and contact Bellingham Flower Farm within 7 days of delivery or pickup if a tuber arrives damaged, rotten, or otherwise does not meet our quality standards. Photographs may be requested to help us evaluate the issue. Requests received after the 7-day period may not be eligible for replacement or refund. Once a tuber has been planted, stored improperly, or otherwise handled by the customer, we cannot guarantee its viability or growth.
5. Flower subscriptions
Subscription orders are billed according to the terms presented at the time of purchase.
Subscription dates, pickup locations, flower varieties, quantities, and availability will be communicated as part of the specific subscription offering.
Because flowers are seasonal and weather-dependent, the exact contents of a subscription may vary from week to week.
Cancellation policies for individual subscriptions will be stated at the time of purchase and will supersede general cancellation language where applicable.
6. Weddings and custom floral services
Wedding and custom floral orders may require a non-refundable retainer or deposit to reserve a date.
Specific payment schedules, cancellation terms, minimums, substitutions, pickup arrangements, and other requirements may be outlined in a separate proposal, invoice, contract, or agreement.
If a separate written agreement exists for your wedding or event, that agreement will govern the specific services purchased in addition to these general Terms of Service.
Because flowers are agricultural products, exact varieties and colors cannot always be guaranteed. We will make reasonable substitutions when necessary while maintaining the overall design, color palette, and value of the order.
7. Events and workshops
Registration and payment are required for ticketed events and workshops unless otherwise stated.
Tickets may be non-refundable or subject to specific cancellation deadlines stated on the event registration page.
Bellingham Flower Farm reserves the right to cancel, postpone, relocate, or modify an event because of weather, unsafe farm conditions, agricultural operations, illness, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If Bellingham Flower Farm cancels an event, we will provide the refund or alternative option described in the applicable event listing or registration terms.
8. Farm access and safety
Bellingham Flower Farm is a working farm. Farm areas may contain uneven ground, mud, irrigation equipment, tools, agricultural machinery, fencing, plants, insects, animals, and other hazards associated with an active agricultural property.
Visitors are responsible for following posted instructions and staff directions and for supervising children and other members of their party.
Access to the farm is limited to designated areas and scheduled events, appointments, pickups, or other activities specifically offered by Bellingham Flower Farm.
The farm is not generally open to the public outside designated events or activities.
9. Weather and agricultural conditions
Farming is dependent on weather and natural growing conditions. Extreme temperatures, frost, excessive rain, drought, wind, smoke, pests, disease, wildlife, crop failure, and other agricultural conditions may affect our ability to provide a particular product or service.
When circumstances outside our control affect an order or event, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an appropriate alternative, substitution, rescheduling option, or other resolution when possible.
10. Cancellations, returns, and refunds
Our cancellation and refund policies may vary depending on the product or service purchased.
Perishable flowers, custom floral work, event tickets, wedding services, subscriptions, and living plant material may be subject to different cancellation and refund terms.
Any product-specific or service-specific cancellation policy provided at the time of purchase will apply.
Nothing in these Terms of Service is intended to limit any rights or remedies provided to consumers under applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
